WealthSolver – Editing an Existing Model Portfolio

Created by Violet Sabo, Modified on Tue, 21 Apr at 5:26 PM by Violet Sabo

Overview

Model Portfolios contain predefined Investment Options for a superannuation plan.

Each plan can include multiple Model Portfolios, and each Model Portfolio can hold one or more Investment Options.

Model Portfolios are used to define standard investment allocations that can be applied consistently across member accounts.

Editing an Existing Model Portfolio

Step 1: Click [XPLAN], then select WealthSolver Functions > Manage Model Portfolios.

The Manage Model Portfolios page will display.

Step 2: Click the Edit (✏️) icon next to the Model Portfolio you want to modify.

The Edit Model Portfolio dialog box will open.

Step 3: Update the Model Portfolio Name if required.

Step 4: In the Investment Options panel, adjust the Target % values as needed.

Tip:

  • Use the Filter Options field to search by Name or APIR.

  • Tick Show allocated only to display only Investment Options with a non-zero Target %.

Step 5: Click Save.

Best Practice Tips

  • Review Model Portfolios regularly to ensure allocations remain aligned with current investment strategies.

  • Use clear and consistent naming conventions (e.g., Balanced Portfolio – XYZ Super).

  • Always verify Target % allocations total 100% before saving.
