New Features and Enhancements

For users

Switching merged format to DOCX

Switching the merged format from DOC to DOCX provides several benefits as DOCX is an updated file format that offers improved compatibility with newer versions of Microsoft Office and has better support for advanced formatting and features, such as tables, images, and macros.

Choose from a pre-configured list of objectives

This feature allows users to quickly select from a range of predefined goals or objectives that have been pre-populated within the system, eliminating the need to type out lengthy descriptions or create new goals from scratch.

Review client situation via Mindmap overview

From the Advice Configuration screen choose to review client situation from detailed pages or from a Mindmap overview. The Mindmap overview screen let you review the client current situation via data node bubbles which you can drill down into to view more detailed information.

Current situation narrative

A new option on the Advice Configuration screen let you include a short paragraph about the client current situation.

In-wizard modelling

This highly anticipated feature allows you to create your advice modelling and recommendations directly in the wizard without having to create scenarios before hand. Your entire advice can be done from within the Advice Composer.

XPlan module output enhancements

The settings screens that let you configure the outputs for each of the modules have been re-organised and improved. New outputs have been added.

Pre-configured settings:

This productivity enhancement feature let you pre-configure some of the Composer settings at the adviser and group level so you don't have to re-select them for every new advice scenario. Here are the settings you can tailor in your preferences:

  • Portfolio (IPS) output settings
  • Risk Researcher output settings
  • Wealth Solver output settings
  • XTools+ output settings
  • Next Steps settings

Enter product replacement details in wizard

When you use IPS for your recommendations (without Wealth Solver) you will not benefit from the automated product replacement function that Wealth Solver offers. However you can now enter the product replacement details in an interface designed for this purpose, directly in the wizard.

Merge scenario comparison charts from XTools+

Configure your XTools+ output settings screen to include scenario comparison charts into your advice document.

Link XTools+ modelling to recommended strategies

With this enhancement you can choose to present any XTools+ output (chart, table, scenario comparison) after one or several of the recommended strategies.

Merge Educational Flyers as attachments

Reduce the length of your SOA with this enhancement. Select 'Merge as attachment' on the Strategy Recommendations screen and selected flyers will merge as separate attachments from the SOA (in zip file)

Enhancement to Insurance Product Recommendations screen

The user experience has been made consistent with the Investment Product Recommendations screen. You can now add several insurance products and use the managed field content feature to rapidly include reasons and risks associated with each of the recommended products.

Simplified fee section

Enter advice fees, product fees, insurance commissions in easy steps from the same group.

Pre-configured next steps

Another productivity enhancement feature that let you quickly build the Next Steps section by appending to a set of pre-configured 'Next Steps'. As mentioned earlier, these preferences can be configured both at the Adviser and Practice level.

ROA enhancements in Composer

You can now produce a 'No Change' ROA with 10 mouse clicks. Overall improvement of the user flow of ROA configuration to allow the fast production of ROA while enabling all features for more complex ROAs.

Implementation schedule
