IOOF Datafeed Registration Process
Step1. Submit registration request
All requests for new registrations and/or updates to any existing registrations must be submitted only via our datafeed support webpage with all the relevant details.

Important note
If you are currently receiving any of our older datafeeds and would like to register to receive our new EPI datafeeds, you must contact your Software support staff initially to confirm if their software is capable of consuming these datafeeds and discuss your migration options to this new feed which will replace our older feeds.
IOOF would require the following mandatory information on all requests:
- Adviser's name.
- Adviser Number (Contact our Adviser Services if you are unsure about your adviser number).
- In case where you want to register multiple advisers you can either provide the list in a file and attach to the request or enter details of the advisers in ‘Details of Issue’ field as in screen below.
- In case where you are registering for Datafeeds for multiple platforms, then provide adviser name, adviser number for their respective platform/products. Ex as shown below:
- Adviser name: John Smith, Adviser Number: 123456, Product/Platform: AET Super, AET Portfolio Management Service.
- Adviser name: John Smith, Adviser Number: 454678, Product/Platform: IOOF Pursuit, IOOF Lifetrack.
- Dealer Group Name or Adviser Group Name.
- A valid Email address.
- Phone Number. Our preferred support mode is via our webpage, hence this information is only ever used in case where it is deemed as necessary that we have to contact them over phone.
- Financial Planning Software used (Xplan, COIN, ClassSuper, AdviserLogic, Praemium etc).
Once the above form is successfully submitted on our support page it will generate an internal ticket for us to look into it and take appropriate actions. In case where we have determined that all the information required is received we will proceed with registration and thereby generating your datafeed username and password and send you an email. Else we will send an email requesting further information or seek clarification on information already provided.
Please allow us up to 3-4 working days for processing post submission of your request on our webpage, in case where it’s urgent mark it as urgent in your initial request form so we can prioritize accordingly and we will endeavor to action at the earliest.
Do not resubmit the same request twice, unless you have received an error on the webpage post submit or had any other issues with the page.
Step2. IOOF completes set up
Once all the requirements are gathered and understood, IOOF staff will action request, complete set up. IOOF set up the adviser for datafeeds and enable adviser to receive datafeeds on IOOF’s end. Adviser credentials are generated as a part of the registration process and sent across to adviser.
Step3. IOOF sends notification of completion
IOOF Support staff will send an email to the Requestor (email provided on the Datafeed support webpage) and notify the requestor and the Vendor of completion. Adviser’s credentials (User name and Password) are sent via the email.
Step4. Adviser completes datafeed set up with in their Software
Details received in Step3 by the adviser then would need to be entered into their Software as per their software support’s instructions and ensure that it’s all saved.
This will allow their Software provider to connect to our datafeed systems, authenticate and get data out for the respective adviser.
Common Issues
Datafeed support webpage is down or not responding
- Please check and make sure that you have access to internet.
- Also check to see if this page is blocked by your IT department.
- Once all above are checked, send an email to AdviserServices@ioof.com.au to notify us of the Webpage being down or not responding with any relevant details to help us fix it as soon as we can.
Not receiving emails
- Please check your email rules on your email client (Outlook, Lotus notes etc).
- Check with your email administrator to see if email from IOOF Datafeed support are being blocked or quarantined.
- Always ‘Reply with History’ to emails received from our datafeed support staff after you have submitted a registration our webpage.
Issues with Passwords
- If you have issues with your password for logging into your Financial Planning Software (FPS), as a first step please check that there are no typo errors.
- Contact your Software vendor and see if there is a problem at their end.
Frequently asked questions
What is IOOF’s EPI4.1 platform Datafeed?
It is a new web service for datafeeds which gives you access to Clients data. It utilizes a common industry data exchange standard to enable the transfer of data between all superannuation and investment service providers and financial planning software Providers (like Xplan, Visiplan, and COIN etc) – the standard is known as External Platform Interface (EPI).This new IOOF feed is built on the EPI 4.1 Specifications.

How do I receive or enter any Credentials that I receive from IOOF?
