SETTING UP AN EPI DATA FEED
By registering for an EPI data feed you'll be able to receive data feeds directly into your Financial Planning software. New users registering for an EPI login for the first time will have the ability to choose the level of data they'd like to sent to their financial planning software. More information on the available Data Feed options can be found below.
Setting up an EPI data feed
STEP 1: To setup an EPI data feed, go to Settings > Adviser > Setup EPI Login.
STEP 2: From the drop-down list you have 2 levels of data to select from.
- Portfolio Level
- Individual Holding Level
- Consolidated Portolio Level
IMPORTANT NOTE: You won’t be able to change this election once it's made. More information on the available Data Feed options can be found below.
STEP 3: Click . Your Login ID and Password will be displayed for you to input into your Financial Planning software.
EPI data feed options
Portfolio Level - allows you to receive data at a Managed Portfolio level i.e. investments within a Managed Portfolio are treated as a single investment.
- By choosing ‘Portfolio Level’, each Managed Portfolio would appear similarly to a unitised portfolio, i.e. 1 line item per Managed Portfolio.
Individual Holding Level - allows you to receive data for the underlying investments held within your client’s account including look through for Managed Portfolios.
- By choosing ‘Individual Holding Level’, each underlying investment in a Managed Portfolio is treated as a single line item, i.e. their aggregate investment in any one asset will be displayed.
